My travel experiences with Hand in Hand e. v.

Travelling to The Gambia was an incredible experience for me.

Having travelled there, I now know what poverty means. Even with so little money, the people were friendly and we felt safe at all times. It really was an incredible experience.

However, it was extremely humbling to see and hear about the efforts being made to slowly bring the country back to health.

As we looked at the projects, I could see how much the projects were benefiting the communities and how grateful the people involved in the projects were. It really was an incredible experience to see so much good being done for the people of The Gambia.
