A visit and two new projects

Kunjata and Koloro each receive a community garden.

During her visit this year during the rainy season, the head of our organisation made two villages happier. They have been on the waiting list for a long time. We as an association decided in favour of these two projects because the fence, pump and solar panel are already in place in Koloro and the borehole in Kunjata. This means that large amounts of donations will not be needed for the time being. Kerstin Gebhardt discussed the next steps with those responsible, the Alkalo and the women. It is always important in our decision that the land is ‘community land’ and does not belong to anyone privately. Naturally, we are looking forward to working with Hand in Hand. The on-site visit also showed that the women and men have already exhausted all their options. The money for the materials is the biggest problem.

Please help us to support these families in Kunjata and Koloro as well. Every donation helps.
